|PStov98TJ||He was just trying to be nice but he really strong manned it on there. I mean I weigh 190 and I'm pretty strong but no matter what I did, hang on it, push up with my back on the ground, nothing will get the sucker loose.|

|PStov98TJ||It was up on the lift as he saw that the lock nut on the track bar by the neck of it where it adjusts wasn't all the way tightened down so he tightened it, maybe a little to good...|

|ringer||As said, verify that your axle is centered, it sounds like it is not. If you still get rubbing, I would go with the washers (thats what I did), you will not miss the turning radius.|

|PStov98TJ||Gotcha. Thanks man. I'm up at school right now and my jeep is at home unfortunately . But I will attempt to adjust it over spring break. Last time I tried to adjust it I couldn't get the darn lock nut loose because the guy at oil change shop (my parents took it for me) tightened it down so hard while it was on the lift I can't get it loose. But I'm gonna go to my friend's families shop (they let both of us work on our jeeps there for free! ) and see if I can't use their bigger box wrenches to get it loose and adjust it.|

I was trying to avoid the washers because I was afraid that it would limit my turning radius but now that I think about it one or two washers is like maybe a few millimeters, can't hurt that much. And do any of y'all know how much longer the adjustable track bar should be than the stock with 2.5-3" lift? Like a quarter inch? A full inch? Thanks again!|

First, you need to make sure your axle is centered, since you do have an adjustable track bar.
If you still have tire rub, just add a flat washer (it's actually a WARSHER in my vocabulary) or two under the steering stop bolt. Just enough to keep the tire out of the control arm.

Aftermarket LCAs could give you... Maybe a quarter inch of clearance. They're all still straight so you're really just getting rid of that little rolled edge.
I'd just put a washer or two on the steering stops.

Tires rubbing on front stock lca's
I was just wondering what my options would be to fix this problem. I have a 2.5" OME lift too btw. I know I could get some spacers but I already have 4.25" bs and the smallest spidertrax they make is a 1.25" I believe. So that would put my wheel at 3" of bs which is too much in my opinion. I have a jks adjustable trackbar but I don't think it is set to the correct length because only my passenger side tire rubs when turning right and my other tire has clearance when turning (I've gotten under my jeep and observed this). If anyone could enlighten me on the correct length for the trackbar that would be fantastic. Other than that, this is what I have been thinking:
1) Can I replace the control arms with WJ arms? What would that entail?
2) Can I get aftermarket control arms that the tires won't rub on?
3) Or is adjusting my steering stops just the best thing?
I know the steering stop is the cheapest option but I'm not sure how much it will limit my steering. Thanks for any help!
