Switching your transmission's gear lube to a good synthetic like Redline MT-90 might help its shifting.
So far as it popping out of gear, do you have a body lift and/or a t-case drop installed?

|dmblair||If you warm your jeep up for a few minutes before you leave one thing I used to do in my old YJ is put the T-case in neutral and in first gear and letting the clutch out. This gets everything in the tranny moving and warms up the fluid a lot quicker. Don't forget to set your parking brake if you go back inside.|

|RevCo666||I let mine warm up before going out and about. We generally get -20c on average so the tranny is really stiff to shift.|

|JRIEDY85||I love them. Got them about two years ago and have put about 40k miles on them. I still have maybe 3/8" or 1/2" of tread left. Ill prob buy another set this summer when I get new wheels. You won't be disappointed if you get them.|

|andrew127||No my 97 does the same thing when its cold out in the mornings. Its just cause all the metal sleeves are very tight together and the oil is cold and therefore thick.|

I have a 5 speed manual. Anyone else ever have the jeep slip out of gear when it's real cold? Or it's real hard to shift it into reverse. After I drive for a few mins it gets easier. Just wondering if I'm the only one that has this problem.
