I reset the radio this morning and any speaker wire that I thought was slightly exposed I taped up with electrical tape, so far so good, hasn't gone into protect mode yet, hoping it doesn't anymore

Jeembro Yeah I had my kenwood unit going into protect mode not too long ago. I looked everywhere for a short, tried resetting it, and tearing everything apart. Finally gave up and took it to best buy and after 40 minutes of troubleshooting they fixed it. They don't know how they did, but it went out of protect mode. They said the littlest things will force it into protect mode

Need help! Protect mode on radio

I have a kenwood head unit that I got back in December and recently it has continuously been going into protect mode, in order for me to get it out, I have to unplug the whole thing and plug it back in, but within a minute of driving, it happens again, anyone know what could be causing this?
I checked the wiring for the new sound bar, nothing is loose and touching the metal to short anything, I have no idea what it could be

It is the Kenwood KDC-152 radio
