Some use 1.5 in Dom with heims and make their own TR and DL. The passenger side away bar mount will be in the way of the drag link so that has to be moved. There are a few brackets out there to make it fairly simple with a welder.

Cleaned it, and the frame from the fun sugar sand/road salt combo that was on it.
Tightened up some steering issues.
For the first time since I was a Jeep owner I got frustrated with Quadratec. Sure some of it was our (my wife was trying to order me a christmas present) but a lot of it was due to their web site being misleading in more ways then one and an ODD shipping policy for their free shipping.
Still one of the best options out there for Jeep parts, and first time Ive been upset with em but this was simple. I just wanted a rear brake overhaul kit.

Over the past week I've been doing a little catching up on the Jeep since I'm home on break. I repainted the rear hitch, sanded all the rust spots i could find underneath the Jeep and repainted those as well. Cut the front bumper at 45 degree angle, repainted that as well. Also finished trimming the flares 2" and put edge molding on them to give it a finished look. Today I got it inspected and registered.
Sorry, didn't see that it had posted earlier.....

You can see all the components. So you can mix and match parts, I used the following:
RAM-HOL-AP9U - Apple iPhone Holder (4-4s)
RAM-B-238U - RAM 2 7/16" X 1 5/16" BASE W/ BALL This attaches to the back of the phone mount
RAM-B-201U - RAM DOUBLE SOCKET ARM FOR 1" BALL (this is the arm, and there are longer ones available, I may get a longer one in the future)
RAM-B-347U this is the square base
Edit: These parts are also available on Amazon, if the price isn't better the shipping cost will be...

Replaced back glass & lift supports
Managed to break the back glass, trying to install it, on the factory hardtop I found on craigslist for my '05 TJ. $250 replacement arrived and I very carefully this time got it installed. Then found that the back glass lift supports were worn out so got a new set, which I thought were kinda pricey @ $31 ea. Anyway, everything is installed and so far, so good.

I've had my 2006 LJ for about 6 weeks now, swapped out the brakes, front and rear. I changed the plugs, there are some really expensive ones now-a-days. changed the oil etc... It runs better now than when I bought it. This is my third Jeep, owned two YJ's, I ran the last one with a spring over with an extra leaf and full width F-150 axles (9" and D44) with 35x15.5 swampers. Loved that Jeep, but this one is definitely more refined and I like that.
This is almost trivial but I added a phone mount to the dash to go with a new stereo, it's also my GPS. I made a steel backing plate for strength, and it's working out really well. The mount is a "Ram Mount" system. Very sturdy.
