|daanbc||All I did was remove the three star shape screws that hold the front bulb in the housing of the fog. Disconnect the bulb, Take the bulb out by the wire=don't touch the bulb itself. Take needle nose pliers and bend the metal tab that's inside bulb. It breaks off REAL easy. Then pull in out. Put the bulb back in, connect the plug=wires. The srew the three screws back in and your done. The fogs are much more brighter. But they are still not focused to a point.|

|wavebacktothetj||Don't you love little tricks like that, glad I could help, welcome to the forum if I hadnt said that already|

|N39-W120||If you are in an area thar requires "safety inspections" this will cause the vehicle to fail.... keep a spare relay|
|03-14-2009 09:50 PM|
|daanbc||Yeah it's behind the glove box. I just did it! Took me a whole minute! It's the relay on the right, and the #2 pin is the one you bend. THANKS!!! Now I can have just the fogs, or the highbeams and fogs. This along with the mod of taking that little piece of metal out of the fog to make them brighter, are excellent.|
|03-14-2009 09:47 PM|
|wavebacktothetj||yes it is a relay|

forgive me for sounding like a smart ass, but in my understanding of electricity, if you bend the tab back on a fuse, then it doesnt work. are you talking about a relay?
|03-14-2009 09:38 PM|
|wavebacktothetj||ok yours might be behind the glove box its the relay (Fog light relay) on the right I beleive, pull it out and put some muscle in it, it will be tight, then find pin #2 they are marked you just have to look close and bend it back around the side of the fuse so you can plug it in without it making a connection|
|03-14-2009 09:27 PM|
|daanbc||Could you explain that better? I went to the fuse box under the hood, I see two fuse's one is square the other just a 20 amp fuse for fogs. Which one is it? I tried to pull the square one out, but its pretty tight. Did not want to break anything tonight.|
|03-14-2009 09:15 PM|
|wavebacktothetj||Heck yeah man it takes about 30 seconds, all you do is go under your hood and open your fuse box and pull the fuse in the middle thats closest to you and bend the #1 tab back, and plug it back in and your done|
