|kawa001||How did this come out?|

Yea I'm thinking to use the seatbelt mounting point or thereabouts and then I think I will make use of the two seat mounting brackets.
I am starting with the base design but will hopefully make boxes to also go over the wheel arches and make a completely flat deck in the rear.
I'll keep the covering in mind, I was just going to use done marine carpet but a paint on could be good for the internals.

Looks awesome ... I had a box pretty similar back in the day, I bought two gallons of herculiner and covered it inside and out just to make sure it never rotted away.
Any plans on how your going to mount it ?

TJ rear drawer/storage box
Recently got my hands on a 97 TJ (dream car at that)
Still being a student I can only manage a student budget which is very low
This means I will be doing as much fab work as I can both at home and in my fabrication classes at school.
Now onto the build. I quickly realised the TJ doesn't have a huge amount of storage for all my gear.
I couldn't find any plans for drawers so I designed my own.
I am about half way through the build with the initial assembly almost complete.
Here are done picks of my progress so far.
I have 2 drawers at the base with a shallow compartment (just a bit deeper than a large can) above them with lid and then in the front I have a small deep box for small things you want to access from the drivers seat with lid.
