tequila1pint jpdocdave--- You were absolutely correct. I was looking at the wrong lines. I found the lines that run along the top and over to the manifold and found the vacuum line swinging in the breeze. The end piece rubber is pretty soft so that's why it came off the nipple. Just hose clamped it for the time being and I now have A/C control. Thank you very much.!!!!!!!!!!!

jpdocdave 9 times out of 10 its a vacuum line, but usually under the hood, not behind the dash. find the vacuum line coming from the firewall, and trace it to its sorce. you'll probably find it cracked, or off the manifold.

A/C blows only from winshield vent

Guys/gals, I have an 05' and I've searched the threads but no one has a definite answer. My a/c blows only from the top middle winshield vent. I've torn the whole dash apart, checked all vacuum lines to the actuator doors and their good. There is no relay or fuse for the door actuators them self. So out of process of elimination, can it be the mode select control? If anyone else has had this issue, can you please chime in on some of your input? It's goona start getting hot here soon and it would be nice to have cold air on my face and not the winshield, TIA.
