WaterDR Bottom line...lifting a vehicle is a lot more complicated than just tossing hockey pucks under springs and the higher you go the more complex and expensive.

Think about it...as you go up, all the geometry changes.

logangrin Yeah...i guess with only 33's it'd look weird. But thanks guys least i know now!

jgorm You would also need at least $2000-5000 for a long arm lift, longer drive shaft, T-case lowering kit, new sway bar links, adjustable track bars, etc. The only jeeps that have 7" lifts are street queens with well over $10,000 invested in aftermarket parts. Imagine something like this, but with tires the size of his wheels.

WaterDR Anyone who adds spacers to a 4" lift deserves to have their jeep taken away.

That's my $0.02

Whoever told you it wont cause any problems is ignorant at best. Save the 60 bucks and buy something you actually need for the jeep. As long as you have a complete lift, then you should be good on that end

TnDz TJ You are causing a lot of problems if you do this... DON'T!!! Plus it will look ridiculous... 7" of lift with 33's.

You haven't thought this through... or done any research on what you are proposing... if you had... you would not have posted this question.

Craigslist post: Jeep TJ JK lift
Why do you need 7 inches of lift if your staying on 33s??
02-21-2013 09:28 PM
Michigunman If you have a 4" lift and 33's why do you need more lift?
02-21-2013 09:26 PM
doclouie Don't put spacers on a 4" lift or you will have lots of problems. You really need to research this out more or you will have an unsafe Jeep.
