New but not New

Hi there. I am new to the forum, but not new to being a Jeep owner. I had my first Wrangler YJ 13 years ago and have missed it ever since I started driving minivans. I have to tell you, that we have a big family and my wife gave me the go ahead to get anything I want to drive as long as it had a back seat. We have a large vehicle we can all fit in (9 of us), so its no biggie. I was looking at sports cars when our cousin said, "Hey my girlfriend's brother-in-law has a jeep he might sell." I immediately asked for a viewing despite the fact that I had two vehicles already scheduled to see the next day. I went and saw the first vehicle and was not impressed, I viewed the second vehicle and was on a test drive when our cousin called and said to come and see it. It was in a garage where it had been for 2 years along side a Mustang. All I could see was the passenger side, but I checked the frame, body mounts and floor on the driver's side. I could not even climb over stuff to see the motor. My cousin told me it wasn't going anywhere and that if I wanted to wait until summer, it would still be there, so I left. When I did, I noticed all the rust and stuff wrong with the truck I was driving and considering. When I arrived home, my wife looked at me and said," So, what did you find?" I told her about the Jeep and it needing steering parts replaced and that it looked great and even had both tops. My old one only had soft. Within seconds I was texting our cousin and on the phone with him closing the deal I knew inside I could not pass up. I bought a new battery and Wednesday night I drove it from the seller's house to mine. I cannot wait to get home from work and go out and work on it. I feel, it was destiny.
