You can do what you're thinking, but the best way would be to run the switch to a relay.

Then use the relay to power the off road lights. I'm sure the procomps pull more than the factory fogs.

You'd burn the harness/ blow fuses

Need help on off road lights

I just bought some pro comp 7" round slim profile lights for my 2012
jeep wrangler. And a new bumper. I wont be using the fog lights anymore is there a special wire harness i can use so i dont have to cut and splice the plug off. Want to use the existing fog light switch to turn on and off, the off road lights
