ScottinPA Hinge pin was missing once everything was delivered. Had to put washers under the spare, supplied lugs would bottom out before tight. Set screw hole to lock pin needed to be chased. Didn't seem like the factory tap went deep enough. I opened up frame mounting holes a little to make initial assembly easier. Angle bracket fit very tight and can be tough to get started. Opening up the tolerances a little would make assembly easier without sacrificing strength. None are big issues just frustrating and prolonged the assembly time.

Instead of mounting cans, I think I'll fab a bracket that'll use the can clamps and mount my tuff stuff carrier with shovel and axe on it. It'll end up between the spare and the carrier.

47MTP Scott, you mentioned some quality issues...what specifically didn't you like? I'm saving for that same bumper carrier.

Definitely more than I wanted to spend but it is heavy duty and rattle free.

ScottinPA Got the adj arms today so I may start Friday afternoon. Depends on the weather since where it sits as shown is where I work on it. Got a major repair at work scheduled for the weekend so may not be able to finish until next week. Drive shaft chop & balance should only take a few days.

Body Armor rear bumper w/tire carrier installed...finally

Finished the Body Armor rear bumper with tire carrier install. Started Sunday afternoon and worked on it in the evening after work. Some of the quality control was iffy but its solid. Now for a rugged front bumper.

The extra weight in the back (there wasn't anything previously) seemed to reduce the driveline vibes some. I assume it changed the driveshaft angle a little. Still going to do the SYE/CV.
