That's NO JOKE.
This forum has caused me to dump WAY to much money into my TJ.
But at the same time, it has saved me quite a bit as well.
So, it's all good.

no_limits_jeep yep law enforcement is nothing special but some cops do take it too far and thats why we get a bad rap alot. I am an officer in mississippi and it is fun and all because you get your nose in everything going on. You also get to see all the weird shit that goes on in your area. I have been in law enforcement for 6 years now and I still love it but the pay is not all that great. But retirement and benefits are out of this world.

daanbc Trust me, just because My job is in corrections and I have parity with the road. In know way am I one of the guys who hangs with only law enforcement. In fact the majority of my neighbors don't even know my line of work. It seems like once you let folks know they treat you diff. I'm just a reg. joe paying my bills and raisin a family. If I could find a job that pays what I get, has the benefits, and the 3% a year retirment. I'd switch in a heart beat. 19 years of it and I am bored and tired of it.

I would have to agree with that 100% It does not stand for cops only but rather people in general.I did want to clarify that was not in any way meant to sound bad toward police officers at all just the way of the human race.BTW I have quit a few friends that are cops.

BLACKTOOTHGRIN I think that statement is true for all people, not just Cops. lol.

Thanks for those links by the way.
I just ordered a couple from the bottom link. I couldn't deside between what I wanted them to say, so now I'll have a replacement down the road. I also like the Glossy Black better than the Carbon Fiber look of the others. I'll post pics when they arrive.

For anyone else wanting the ones for the bottom link:
This seller has other listings on Ebay that are only $7.99, rather than the $9.99. And free shipping is also included on those adds. So, try to find them if you want to save a few bucks.

MOz That's awesome.....

I always toyed with the idea of designing an LED display to mount in the rear window. Some special pushbuttons for quick expressions while on the road would be useful. I think if a statey sees you, he'll yank your butt over so fast...and probably cut you a break. Hell I got jacked up for just temporarily monting my plate in the rear window one time. Cost me $75.

slf41002 Yeah it would only offend a few. Most cops are normal human being and then you have a hand full of pigs. And here are a few links to the 3rd light decals.

No kidd'n?
Would you mind providing the link or the seller?
I was just in the process of making something for mine,
but yours looks like it turned out great.
If mine doesn't come out so good,
maybe I'll give them a shot.
What are they made of, and how do they fasten?

You're a Cop huh?
Cool.
Maybe you can give all us fellow Jeepers here some good tips! lol.

MoA just wait until you have a cop behind you and you have to brake =p
03-19-2009 11:39 PM
BLACKTOOTHGRIN That's great!
Where did you find that piece?
03-19-2009 09:32 PM
daanbc I figure people will see the tire first since its big n colorful, then when the brake light is stepped on they will read the light. When the brake peddle is not stepped on, you really can't see it.
03-19-2009 08:41 PM
slf41002 I like it but your azz backwards Cause now it reads, your azz --- beep beep

New brake light

I put the tire cover on, and I always liked the saying "BEEP BEEP YOUR A-S" So I had the brake light read Your Azz.
