Dr. tiki This was before I bought my Rubicon when I was still considering a Jeep. I rented a Wrangler for the weekend as an extended test drive and we took the dogs down to Palm Springs.

Both pups are rescues from the local "Kill Shelter"...
The one tied to the antenna is Kiah, she's a Catahoula.
The other is Pete! and he's a Tibetan Spaniel (Yes, his name officially has an ! in it).

Xodius Purr-hump-a-bump? Welcome and be sure to check out nevadashooters if you are a outdoorsman. Great group with only about a 5% crazy factor...although most of those are in Pahrump. Lol.

Off Pavement Meet Blaze! He's just a year old and mostly puppy still. Those of you that wheel in Nevada will likely see him one of these days. We plan on relocating to Pahrump.

PHILDABEAST I've got 2 weimers, one of them I can hardly keep out of the jeep, he loves trail rides. The other one isn't really a fan of rides of any kind. Sorry I'm not from Nevada, just had to comment on the weimers.

What trails have you found are best for the dogs? I've noticed my Weimaraner doesn't like to bounce all over the place hahaha
Mine have been good on almost all the trails I have been on. Then again I take them hunting from time to time too.

I started them on smaller runs up around the various small trails on mount charleston. There are a ton of trails up there.

I have a border collie and the schnauzer. Weims are a bit high strung so I am not sure exactly what you could do other than start small and get it used to the trails.

Xodius Just after he yawned in my ear. He likes to do that as it is super high pitched and annoying as hell.
