That's right where we're looking. We were instructed early on how to pronounce Boerne. I have a co-worker who is a native San Antonian.

Thank you! Moving from Maryland, the "free" state, we're looking very much forward to it.

That's exactly what I wanted to hear! If all goes well, we will be house hunting soon. We hear Boerne is a nice area.

DonnieDB I'm in the gulf coast we have been having weather in the low 60's and it is supost to get colder this next weekend.... But the other 40 weeks of the year minus a rain day here and there most jeeps stay topless

0II1II0 I have a soft top that I'm putting on in the Spring. I've been watching the weather in SA and I see A LOT of top down days! I was just wondering if there was ever a reason to have it. It doesn't seem as though there is.

DonnieDB My soft top has been on for 5 years.... My tj started life with the hard top but was a pain to keep takin on and off.....what the original owner was telling me..... There is supost to be a conditioner for the soft top according to my local jeep dealer

rketr Do you have a soft top?

We have a ton of sunny days here, but it does occasionally rain and sometimes gets cold (20's n 30's during "winter" (usually worse for about 2 weeks in January / February)). So I'd recommend at least some coverage.

That said, I've heard that with the amount of sun and heat we get, you should expect to replace your soft top about once every 5-6 years or so. To wit, I've had my '03 for 10 years (next month to be exact) and replaced the top once. However the replacement was needed due to a tree that jumped out and bit me when out on a trail.

If anything, welcome to SA

Might be moving to San Antonio...

Is there any foreseeable reason I would want/need to keep my hardtop?
