DarylJHewitt Your jeep must have been in an accident, I have a 98 tj that was originally a soft top that I bought a hardtop for and my roll bars have plenty of clearance all the way around, even with the pads on.

1SGWBB No accidents or rollovers that I'm aware of and the roll bar doesn't appear to be bent just off centered never noticed till I got a hardtop for it then had trouble mounting the top, passenger side has about 4 inch clearance and the drivers side is touching the side of the hardtop.

mxracer513 Yeah if it's bent you're going to need to straighten it not just move it over.

P.S. i think this would be an excuse for a new trail cage

spanky that thing been in an accident or been rolled ?
03-21-2009 09:58 AM
1SGWBB It's off centered to far over on drivers side and the hardtop is rubbing on it.

mxracer513 I guess it could be if you opened up the mounting holes a little. Why would you want to move your rollbar side to side?
