SinisterWarWagon99 I have a 5th wheel camper at a seasonal site near Danbury. Have been out on some of the fire roads and such out by Grace lake with mine but would like to find some other places to Jeep. Let me know what else is out there.

skillkills Ive been in part of Nemadji on ATV, Itd be kinda fun with a jeep but yes, I got pretty turned around on my wheeler so a gps would be nice. Even just going out driving around in Northwest WI is fun. We've had a cabin in Danbury for over 10 yrs and some of the old back roads are beautiful on snowmobile/atv/auto. Theres A TON of land in WI that is rarely seen once you get out there, I've been places on wheeler and kayak where the closest road is over 5mi away and who knows where the closest house might be. Pretty darn remote in some places. This winter I'm looking at clearing/widening out some of my ATV trails on the farm for jeep use, would be good for a GTG and short trail rides

Welcome!
There are some State Forest roads north of the cities that you and the kids may enjoy. I've trekked around there for fun. Mostly gravel roads but also some spurs that are narrow and kind of fun to get off the beaten path. Lots of pine forest which looks nice after a snow. Not all that well marked so good idea to have a GPS, especially one that can track your route in case you get disoriented and need to backtrack. I attached a couple maps. Can find more info via Google.

I believe you need to get a OHV sticker though and have to do that in person at the DMV the first time around. Have fun!

2015 Planned Jeep Related Events?

What are some Jeep related events planned for 2015?

It would be great to have a Metro area "Meet-and-Greet", then an introductory (beginners) off-road event. It would be great to see various Jeep modifications.

Thanks!
Living in Arkansas I have heard of this guy (Mudbob) somehow, and heard he does very nice work.

jmark127 This isn't necroposting? Is it? I'm in WBL and just got my first Wrangler, an 08 X. So far, the only offroad driving I've done was on the trails in the Superior National Forest while grouse hunting.

MnJK Hi All,

Anyone have a recommendation for a reputable welder familiar with Jeeps? Or a Jeeper that does good welding out of his/her garage? Prefer south metro area. Looking to add/weld front axle (d30) c-gussets for sure and probably front/rear shock relocation brackets.

Thanks!

Anyone have enough free time to maybe even meet with me? All I really need is a description of how to get to the trails and which ones are best Thanks in advance for any help.

Last year I bought a set of 5 tires brand new off a 2013 rubicon for $500.00
I currently have a set of 5 tires and rims with sensors off a 2012 Sahara with only 4000 miles and got for $500.00
If that helps for price range
