flipflop I had an similar issue a couple months back.

It ended up being my turn signal switch. I was told it has control of your headlights also, if you pull it back towards you it engages the high beams.

I was told a common issue is the switch getting stuck. pull the level back and see if you hear it click. if not its prob stuck. you can easily fix this with a flat head screwdriver until you can take the column apart to replace it.

the base of the lever connects to a piece of metal that controls the small white plastic switch. you can reach it from the bottom of the steering column. I cant remember if i had to take the plastics off the dash or not to get to it. once you find the white plastic part that is stuck just pop it back into place.

BCDonny hook up a test light to headlight connector for the low beams to see it's getting power, if it is then it's you head lamps, if there is no power check your switch.
