zachary.mcadams What do you mean how has the zerk fitting hasn't been busted off? On the control arm? What would have broken it off, crawling?

zachary.mcadams What would cause that nut to be where it was??

zachary.mcadams Should it be tightened up towards the joint where it flexes? Or towards the actual black part of the arm?

zachary.mcadams Jam nut?? We're still both pretty new.

distortedtj Rough Country 4'' X system.

Also I would HIGHLY suggest securing the jam nut on that control arm. It needs to be tight to the control arm. With just seeing that .....I'd go over the whole jeep and see what else is messed up.

Jerry Bransford As requested above, a photo of the control arms will be about the only way of possibly identifying the brand of suspension lift. Springs are springs and any brand of shock absorber can be installed with any brand of suspension lift.

zachary.mcadams Maybe a better picture?

zachary.mcadams The stabilizer bar reads
Made In Mexico
Q11012
660913

Seems to be the only part number we can find.

krisbman Just checked my jeep. Im leaning towards RC brand. Same exact color as mine and the part# stamping is the same style. Are the springs silver as well???
03-03-2013 03:08 PM
Jerry Bransford That pic doesn't show the entire part number and is that of the shock absorber? If so, the brand of shock absorber won't necessarily be the same as the brand of suspension lift.

Showing a few good well lit photos of the control arms would be more useful towards possibly identifying the suspension lift brand.

Need help identifying friends lift kit

Hey jeepers,

My buddy bought a TJ over the weekend, it already has a lift on it,
But the dealer didn't know what brand or size. Trying to give him a hand IDing the parts.

The only number we can find on it is attached. The shocks are grey along with the stabilizer bar with black boots over them. Any help would be appreciated. I can take more pics as well.
