|rmeier||If you mainly off road your jeep I would remove the sway bar and trac bars. Once I removed those I noticed a lot more flex. If you have new leaf springs like I do it will take some time for those to lose their stiffness. But removing those helped me out so much. I only have a 1.5" lift and a 1 1/4" shackle lift on 31's.|

I would say they flex pretty well
That is a 4.5" RE lift with bump stops in.

You really can't compare a Cherokee to a YJ as far as flex goes especially in the front, but you can get a good amount of flex out of leaf springs.
First I would see how tight your springs bolts are on the ends, and remove the trac bars if you feel comfortable doing so. With lifted springs I have seen no ill effects removing the trac bars.
Another thing to check is that your shocks may be the limiting factor too. You can unbolt the bottom of the shock and see how far they stretch while on flat ground

Ditch both the Track Bars, and add quick disconnects to your swaybar. Be careful about your brake lines!!!! Too much flex and you'll snap them. I'm rolling on a 1" shackle lift, and this is pretty close to the limits of the stock brake lines:
Any more lift and I'd be looking at snapping them. You can either re-locate the stock mounts or extend the lines.

|BigWillyStyle||Thanks or the tip. I have the Superlift 3.5 leafs on it. Dont know much about them, it came with the Jeep. Other than an expensive set of leafs what do you mean by a properly setup leaf?|

|bajonesy77||Bump stops stop the axles from hitting the frame so removing them is not an option, plus if your hitting the bump stops you have very good flex or atleast uptravel.|

Please please please do not get revolver shackles.
You can get tons of flex with a proper setup leaf with a real shackle. Especially not a POS revolver that unloads and flops aroumd.

|wrangler23||This is mine with a 2.5 in rc lift. No trac bars or sway bars. O also have a 1 inch shackle lift. Hope this helps.|

Better YJ articulation
I hav a 91 YJ Wrangler. It has a 3.5 leafspring lift by Superlift. Its the way i bought it. Took it out for the first time to try it out and articulation is poor to say the least. I used to have a 89 cherokee, and aside from a 3 inch Rough country lift, it was completley stock, but went EVERYWHERE. A small incline with a small rut stopped my YJ so I cant even contiplait on taking it where my cherokee went. I have seen the suggestions on taking the rear track bar, and adding quick disconnects for the sway, what about removing the bump stops??? Any ideas on this or anything else that will help articulation. I wont do a spring over.
