Jerry Bransford I have to say that because of the really great people in this particular group, the area we wheeled in that I hadn't been in for 10-11 years, and the way it was put together, it was one of the more fun trips I have been on. Don't miss the next run by this group Hedonist!

I can just tell by the pics alone that you guys had a blast. My Jeep was very upset with me this morning. It's the first time I saw my TJ shed a tear because of this trip that we missed.

Congrats on a great trip guys. BTW, whoever planned it did a fantastic job.

Yes and no. You can do it with a stock jeep (Jeff aka Turd did), but (as always IMO) you want to be with someone to spot, preferably that has some recovery gear just in case.

You can get thru there without scratching it up. Best to pull you're mirrors in just in case.

If you can't tell from the rest of the thread, we all had a blast!

Don't worry, I asked 3 times if they had enough water to go around. I offered water, but they said they had plenty. What they didn't have plenty of was sense enough not to take a bling bling 20" shod H2 on a trail where it didn't belong.

1BLKJP Looks like a blast was had by all. Sorry I missed it, but you all more than made up for me not being there.

tiny terror I HAD to post this one before I sized all of them. Larry's Jeep coming through the squeeze.....

stevens243 Hey gang, Debbie and I are home, safe, truck and jeep unpacked. Jeep cleaned and just outta the shower.

Pix are going up on my google pix site shortly, so I'll have a post up in about an hour or so.

We had a GREAT weekend! A great group and Deb and I had an absolute blast! I will go offroading with any of you again!

Brian, thank you for all the effort! I know it was a lot of work and we appreciated it! Same goes for Chris and Chris!

Jack, I didn't read you're post until just now, but I accidentally had like 3 beers for you last night. It was the last three I shouldn't have had!
03-29-2009 06:39 PM
cavediverjc Yeah, the Hummer guy had a giant slice of humble pie when a convoy of Jeeps passed his broken down H2!!! It made me smile. $60k can buy you a lot of pretty heated leather seats, but it won't buy you tie tod that's worth a crap offroad!!! I REALLY hope someone got some pics of that broken Hummer!!!! Jeeps rule, H2s suck. End of story.
03-29-2009 06:39 PM
tiny terror I'm downloading my pictures right now. I just woke up . There was something down there in the desert I was powerful allergic to, took me all the way to Temecula to stop sneezing.
03-29-2009 06:32 PM
turdhurdler I was more nervous about going around that Hummer than most of the trails made me. The last thing I wanted to do was slide off the rock into him and scuff up my pride and joy. haha.

You and your YJ did a great job out there yesterday, Jeff. Remember, it went places where that broken down $60k H2 Hummer couldn't go!!
