Shark_13 Seems the multi function switch starts to go bad after a while....mine does a similar thing with high beams being finicky.
I may try to clean it internally, or buy new one.

90DesertTanYJ Fill out your profile, you are posting in the "general" forum. My YJ has a seperate dimmer switch mounted on the column with a rod that runs up from it that the wiper switch presses on when you move the multifunction lever. Any one of those things may be in a bind or out of alignment. Newer and older models have different methods.

High beams are sticky

The high beam switch is VERY sticky. It turns on before the switch actually does. When i hit a bump, or even a turn signal it turns the high beams on. Also when they on it turns on the low & high beams at the same time.
Also my flashers don't work, not the caution blinkers, the high beam flashers, they just turn off my low beams if they're on; but i guess that could serve some good if i accidentally flash a cop he/she can't pull me over for 'failure to dim head lights'
Hope this info will help you help me. Thanks!
