|03-08-2013 10:12 PM|
|BLK00TJ||Aye,.. but the weather is starting to turn now I think. In not too much time I'll complain about wrenching in the heat.|

|Pink_Percy||I'm working on the shale driveway too! I like when the jack stands sink into the dirt and I lose bolts and sockets because they blend in with the rocks. Good stuff|

I have a garage. Or, I can use the 3 bay shop I work at..
But that doesn't mean I know what I'm talking about.
|03-08-2013 09:57 PM|
what a glorious life.
|03-08-2013 09:35 PM|
I hate wrenching in the cold.
Anyone want to know how to build a half a...ed rig? Help me in my driveway and bring beer!
You can still multiply my wallet by any positive number too.
|03-08-2013 09:19 PM|
Also multiply my wallet by ten.

Well, doing it a little nicer than just cutting the flares off, you can make a LCOG rig on stock suspension and huge tires. Typically with lots of other mods

I wasn't trying to be mean but it pisses me off when all I see if people complaing and acting a fool on threads like these when most of them don't even know what they are talking about. Please excuse me for being realistic
Patrick, I wasn't gunning for you
okay maybe a little
but seriously, just make sure you bumpstop it right and you won't hurt anything. It wouldn't help to add some more lift or clearance but you got what you got now. Make it work.

|Dieselholic||Just get the 33s and if they rub just cut it off. Eventually there will be nothing to rub on haha|
|03-08-2013 07:33 PM|
|Patrick H||I'm just an asshole who doesn't want to help anyone.|
|03-08-2013 07:32 PM|
|getalildirty||Yeah patrick i wasnt trying to be a dick before.. I actually appreciated you telling me that. Haha|
|03-08-2013 07:30 PM|
Yes, I was being a smartass. Sorry.
|03-08-2013 07:28 PM|
He asked why they sat lower in the front, and I answered. He even thanked me.
I thought that was being helpful.
|03-08-2013 07:18 PM|
|getalildirty||Yeah golden sahara i think you nailed it. All i asked for was pictures hahah|

Let me do some math for you guys.
31s on stock height is typically accepted as the max tire size, right?
You move to 33s, adding 2 inches of tire, 1 inch above and below the axle center line.
You add a 1.25 inch body lift, gaining 1.25 inches of clearance above the tire.
So with that setup you have a quarter inch more room for travel than before.
The only reason it will chew up fenders is if the suspension is not bump stopped correctly or the backspacing on the wheels is incorrect (putting the tire into the flare).
It is possible to run skinny 33s with this small amount of lift. He also didn't specify stock fenders, were just assuming that's what he has.
This forum is full of negative people with cookie cutter minds and a severe lack of desire to help others.
I don't think I have read a single helpful post in 2 pages of this thread, and certainly very little that was relevant to the OP's request.

|getalildirty||Yeah i got my zone 1.25" lift for $110 including shipping.|
|03-08-2013 04:46 PM|
|Mulvihill64||Do a 2" coil spacer lift, combined with a 1.25 bl and a 1" Mml, and you will be good to run 33's. you can probably find all of this for $250 if u look around|
|03-08-2013 04:43 PM|
|PedroJr||So what option u guys think I should go with? Im mot ready to do a full lift yet|
|03-08-2013 04:42 PM|
|PedroJr||Ok well I guess that answer ur ?.|
|03-08-2013 04:41 PM|
|03-08-2013 04:09 PM|
|getalildirty||did not know that. thankyou|
