Cons_Table This rig is a beast. I got to check it out at the Pomona Offroad Expo last weekend. My favorite part of the rig, aside from just looking awesome, is the fact that it gets put through its paces. This isn't just a showy rig that is built to show off...this rig sees the trail! The pics of it don't do it justice, as it is covered in dings and scratches like a true trail rig. Not only does it look good parked at a car show...it can hang offroad too.

Discount Tire We can't say it any better than this.

Yeah its quite the machine. I'm jealous you got to see it before I did. Did you snap any pics?

Discount Tire New Video! 2013 Events - Discount Tire RESQ1

Discount Tire Its been a while since we've posted an update so here it is...

RESQ1 is almost complete. We didn't make our EJS launch date as planned due to unforeseen issues with the service bed. However, here is it! There's still a few small things that need to be buttoned up but for the most part it is finally finished. It will debut in a few weeks on the Ultimate Adventure.

Another video should be added to the RESQ1 website soon. 2013 Events - Discount Tire RESQ1

Here's a link to the latest article that has been posted: RESQ1 Part 9: Body and Bed - Discount Tire RESQ1

RESQ1 should be featured in an upcoming issue of JP magazine as well. Watch for the issue to hit news stands soon.

Here's some of the latest pics... (NOTE ***The tires are 40" Trail Grapplers - to try to put the size into perspective)

Discount Tire I was able to take it for a spin right before we started chopping it up. It was almost as if the back tires were skate board wheels. It didn't take much at all to break them loose.

TXST8tj Great work! I like the choice of the GM power plant over a Hemi. Nothing wrong with a Hemi, just happy to see someone doing something with a GenIII engine.

Discount Tire Vehicle Build: RESQ1

Who would take a Sawzsall to the body of a perfectly good 4-door Jeep? Better yet, who would then keep cutting all the way through the frame of this perfectly good jeep? We would and actually, we've got a few industry friends that can't wait to get their hands on our vehicle as well.

We've teamed up with JP magazine, Off Road Evolution, Turn Key Engine Supply and a bunch of other great sponsors to build one of the meanest support rigs that the off road communities have ever seen. Its called RESQ1 and right now the build is in total overhaul mode. There is just THREE SHORT WEEKS until it's scheduled unveiling at Easter Jeep Safari 2013.

You've got to check this out!
Click on the concept image below to watch the entire build unfold. Enter your email to be notified of new updates and find out where RESQ1 can be seen in 2013.
