FDHog Good to see a Patriot's fan with a sense of humor. Saltwater fisherman too.
Working on a rod rack for my JK. Will post pics when done.

Yes I was definately blessed with a great woman. Any woman who not only let me spend a ridiculous amount of money on this Jeep without getting mad, and gets as excited about fixing it as I do, and loves to show it off as much as me can't be half bad. She works as a civilian on an air force base and lets just say i'm envied by many, but especially when she drives ROWDY to work lol.

As far as the thing goes on the windshield, it is coming off. I am putting a Salt Life decal in its place and the Patriots will now be on the side in place of the Wrangler Unlimited decals lol. Great team Great Jeep, Great TIMES!!! lol.

CamTheMan87 Id say you made the right choice! Fuel wheels are awesome and really standout. I am sure Ill end up with a set of those for sure once I get on the mod band wagon...(gonna be awhile before that happens lol)

I love my Throttles. I looked long and hard to find some. It was between these and some MT's but the Fuel won out due to a friend having another Fuel style on his Chevy and seeing how they held up.

It's both lol. It's a custom kit. You can get every piece for this at your local hardware store. Search the forum for grill mod and you can see a few guys that have really put some detailed instructions on this mod. I went o store to get the clips, the zip ties, and the gutter material (have to buy it in a roll, and I was near $40.00. I found a do it yourself kit for $30 on ebay and it came with just enough of everything to o the job and have no waste at end. Very very simple mod. And looks great. You can paint it if you want, I just chose to keep my theme. Does not hurt temp at all. I let my glue set for 24 hours, other than that this mod took a total of 2 hours from removal of grill to completion.

I had to put several coats on to keep lights from shinning through, like 15. Technically yes your covering lighted area up but neither if us could tell a difference. We werent going to keep it if we lost light. But its great. Gets a lot of comments

This hood is still considered experimental/developmental. Very few have been made thats why they are such a steal right now plus free shipping. I think JKRONNIE on this board actually got the first one and I'm not far behind him. As far as ram air goes I'm not real sure what it would look like on the under side but I'm gonna say mainly looks. More intelligent people WHO ACTUALLY HAVE AND KNOW HOW ITS DESIGNED can give you the details on that part. I know when you spray water in it the engine isn't wet so I'm assuming not a lot of air gets thru either.

Neg - They didn't pre drill the holes for the hood safety latch but it isnt something that is really needed but I did use mine. Not really a negative but it did add like an extra 30 mins to the install lol.

Time will tell the story in the long run but love it so far
