Learning curve for me(long distance relationship garbage lol), atleast I had a chance to see the west for abit. I drove my chev lumina out there (when I owned it). The jeep was purchased last summer. And YEP alot better trails up here. Looking forward to doing wheelin' even if its just mild trails If you ever pass thru, feel free to shoot me an email!

Same here mac! I have some friends that work up in Dryden for mine work ect periodically. I drove thru there a while back when I had my hopes set for Alberta. A month later due to bad relationship/family matters I ended up driving back to Ontario in 18 hours.

I plan to do mostly mudding, not really into the rock crawling thing, but I have to maintain my jeep as my everyday use vehicle. I will sometimes venture off on my own but cautiously and always with a cell phone. So I am not sure if I should upgrade the tires to 35" with a 2.5" lift or should I purchase an upgraded bumper and warn winch? Also when I do decide to go with a winch is an 8000lbs even worth considering or should I just jump straight to the 9500? Let me know! Anyone in Northern Ontario or Manitoba (Thunder Bay West to Winnipeg) interested in getting together for some offroading some time this summer let me know!

Hi All

Finally bought a Wrangler after more then 10 years of drooling over them! Bought it without the wife's blessing so paying the price a little...totally worth it so far!
