yes...our last trip we had several stock rigs..if you stay in the more open areas like the sand hills ,creek trail, quarry, and wider trails there is plenty to keep you busy and have a good time. Some of the more challenging trails also get a little tight where you can easily pick up a unwanted pinstripe (but you said big damage)

Kosmo I was thinking that may have been you. It was one of those situations where... " Do I slow down and wave? It could be him, but then again it might not and the guy might think I'm looking for a date... I'll just keep driving.."

Buuuuut I'll stay in touch. I have to go up to Chicago either mon or tues for another interview.

mrpotatohead DB here are a couple shots from this weekends trip. I wound up going alone so I took it light on a few trails.

Yes and no. Some of the wooded trails are really annoying if you're trying to avoid paint scuffs, that's all they really are though are buffable scuffs. I went there with a brand new soft top the other day and was cursing myself. There is a rock quarry area that is pretty fun to climb around on. After airing down I was able to climb some wet near vertical faces with open diffs. Also the mud wasn't bad a few days ago. The ground is still hard packed underneath most of the soupy parts so getting stuck wouldn't be much of an issue... For now.

Hoosiers Hit Badlands

I will be planning Hoosiers Hit Badlands Spring Break (spend those passes) date and times coming soon ! stay tuned
03-13-2013 12:55 PM
termite We should do a "FreezeOut part 2" and cash in those the free passes, preferably when it is not 20 degrees outside.
03-13-2013 11:38 AM
mrpotatohead It was a brindle. That's a good chance it was that pup. Is anyone planning on doing something when the weather warms up? Everytime the temp dips below 32° I go into hibernation.
03-13-2013 04:14 AM
crazykosmo haha negative. But I'm friends with the owners of Little Caesars, they live back behind Foxfire and their daughter has a brindle female Dane that gets a little crazy.
03-12-2013 01:45 PM
mrpotatohead The same great dane that was losing his mind at the wolf statue at Foxfire apts when I was driving by?

Sweet, not far from you at all. Just down the road from 9th/400. I've got a silver 05 LJ, gray hardtop. I take my brindle Great Dane to Wea to play when it's nice enough.

lolitsdaelan I saw a post on IndyORV.com talking about a Badlands run this Saturday (Mar 16th). I'd be game for going, anyone else interested?

Just got my first charcoburger of the year yesterday! I'm also looking to get in to some entry level wheeling as well. Like DB said...this is my first Jeep, I'm stock, and need to be able to drive it home afterwards! I'm kind of ashamed to say I live on the south side of Lafayette, and have never been to the Badlands...so hopefully I can make that happen sometime soon.

RDub4ND Hey guys and gals! New to the forum. I just purchased my first Wrangler a couple days ago and am looking to get dirty! I'm from Indianapolis. I was thinking about hitting up Haspin Acres today.

D.B. New to the Jeep family as well and would love to hook up with some Jeepers to do some entry level wheeling or trail running or something to start enjoying the ownership. I say entry level based on never having a Jeep before and two, scared to death to cause any damage since its a DD and there are no funds for repairs.

2012 Sahara with 18" stock wheels, stock ride height.
