PapasJP Yea, that was me at Dianne's.

We do Lochloosa if the weather is bad or if we just want a quite ride and wildlife.

Just depends on the season or hunting.

Let me know if you're going maybe I can tag along with you all.

I also do Osceola a lot and Citrus.

We must have run into you at Dianne's, a good meeting place for those of us in north Florida going to the Ocala area for Hardrock and Jeeptoberfest.

Maybe we can check out Lochloosa on a future trip to Ocala.

PapasJP If it is the rainy season:

I was part of the group at breakfast going to Lochloosa.

We had 6 Jeeps and it was dry except for 1 hole that swallowed all of us.....

What's at Lochloosa? A group of us went to Hardrock today and we ran into some jeepers from Ocala that were going to Lochloosa. Other than seeing the sign for it off of 301, I had never heard of it for off-roading.

I brought some mud back with me from Hardrock, but it was a good time even if it was so blasted hot. My jeep thermometer registered 102 degrees.

That's why I keep driving north to play in the hills and rocks of Georgia/Alabama/S. Carolina. Coming up is Sheriff's Jeepfest in Georgia, followed by Choccolocco Mountain in Alabama, and then Jeeptoberfest in Ocala. It's going to be a great couple of months of wheeling and none of it involves mud.

Misinstalled clutches, broken welds, engine they built and installed seized within 200 miles. Those are the issues that they refused to make right. I know of three guys in SSOR that they left high and dry. Shop refuses to stand by their work. All issues in the past year or so.

Ha yeah, it was a mess inside and out. It did some damage too. Blew both fog light bulbs, fog light LEDs are ruined and I'm still finding mud inside!

Daspes Dixie Land Offroad is really the only shop in town that stands behind their work. Waaaay to many issues with happy trails and over built customs. Parts. For the jeep... East coast Offroad Warehouse. He has special pricing for local guys. Just over wholesale.

Maybe not a legal place to wheel but on SR218 between Lake Asbury and Middleburg is the power lines. Plenty of access to get on and plenty of mud and water.

I'm a member of a new Jeep only club called Black Creek Jeep. I too own a Tacoma. A 2008 PreRunner that is my daily driver.

brighton +1 for Happy Trails. They did my gears/lockers and some other items on my jeep over the past few years. Molly and Melvin will take care of you.

Last time I was there there were a couple spots that had enough mud and ruts to provide the opportunity to test your recovery equipment.
