UFOtestpilot Bigger wheels equal less sidewall, less sidewall equals stiffer ride. Perhaps it is your psi, or you are running a load range for a bigger vehicle. Maybe it's not your tires at all, but rather your spring/shock setup.

BLK00TJ What tire pressure are you running and what load range are they? That could be the reason for the rough ride. A lot of people think that the PSI stamped on the side of the tire is what they should be inflating to. That number is the maximum PSI at the specified load. Also, once you go with a bigger tire, the PSI on the door jam is no longer valid. For a load range C tire, you'll only need about 26 PSI to support the vehicle for a 33" tire.

Question- Wheels and Tires

New to Jeep ownership and have several questions...Any assistance appreciated..

I have procomp 33 x12.50 tires and American Racing 15 inch wheels looking to update. Love the aggressive look of the tires but beats you to death on road

suggestions on options with bigger wheels 16 or 17 inch (black only) and what type of tire?

Thanks
