I just bought the following parts today:
- 3.5" Rubicon Expess Super Flex Lift
- Rubicon Express Monoshock Kit
- Super Swamper TSL Radials 33" x 10.5" R15 w/ stock 5 star rims.
- Rugged ridge SRC rear bumper
I started with the Rugged Ridge SRC front bumper and Milemarker 9500 winch a couple of months ago..... I've been chomping at the bit to lift it every day since so here we go.....
I'll drop in the pics when I'm finished in a couple of weeks.

Dirk sold me the basic kit, but I've added the stuff to essentially have an ultimate kit.
My TJ got about 3.25" from what I had previously. I'll admit I probably had some old springs with some fatigue to them. I have the 2.5L, manual, and soft top, but have since added quite a bit of armor along with that suspension and BL/MML.

We probably use a broader range of OME (and our TG coils) than any other OME dealer I know of. We can make your jeep sit at just about any height you want and/or with any ride & handling characteristics desired.
Our Ultimate kits tend to sit in that 3.5" to 4" range of overall lift. We're still using a 2-3" coil and adding a 1.25" BL, which has MANY benefits...

Just wondering Dirk how high do those lift kits sit? Many places say the cheapest kit is 2" other say its 2.5.. which is it.. how about the next level up? 3.5"-4"?

If you don't add any extra weight to the jeep, (winch, bumpers, armor, etc) you could just add a 1.25" BL, a 1" MML and be good height-wise for 33's. Get some disco's for the front swaybar if you don't have any.
I don't know what you have for bumpstops-might need a bit more. Some adj trackbars would be nice, but not absolutely necessary at that height.
Be forewarned though- a BIG percentage of the black steelies out there are not round- right out of the box!
This means that a wheel in that condition won't ever balance out. VERY annoying.
One of our guys recently gave away a set of those wheels because of that. Aluminum rims will run true.
If those are 15x8 rims on there and have a BS in the 3.25" to 3.75" range, I'd run them with your 33's before I'd switch to steelies...

this is what im at right now, i have 32x11.5's with a 2" REBB and would like to go up to 33's net set of tires. these came with it so ill be getting some steelies and bfg m/t's.

Heya, Dirk! Yep, Dirk's been busy sending me parts!
I'll post the specs on my rig (as far as suspension/lift/tires/driveline goes).
- Dana 30 Front with Lockright/ Dana 35 Rear with Yukon 35 shafts and ARB locker
- 4.88 Gearing

- OME 2.5" HD lift (with Unlimited rear shocks)

With the BB and 2-3" coils, you'll end up with 4-5" of lift in the suspension alone. adding a 1.25" BL puts you at 6"plus of total lift.
If you have the right length shocks for a BB, they won't be long enough for a 4-5" lift. You would need longer brakelines and control arms (preferably LA's at 5" +) and adj trackbars are important at that height too. You'll need extended swaybar links in back, longer links/disco's in front and we haven't even got the driveline issues you'll have yet. Then, you'll need a SYE (if you don't have a Rubi) and CV driveshaft conversion. to make that work, you'll need some upper adj rear CA's.
All that money to have a SWB wrangler that has a very high center of gravity and is very tippy. 35's would look kind of smallish on that jeep.
I would recommend keeping your COG LOW and keeping your operating angles flatter on your control arms, trackbars, steering linkages and driveshafts. Your jeep will be MUCH more stable and ride and handle better too.

|NalinMFG||*hypothetical* I have the REBB kit- and this summer i am going to get the jks 1.25 body lift. If I also purchase 2" or 3" springs would i be able to keep my 2" spacers in from the REBB? First can I do this? will i need brake line extenders, shock drops, and/or is this really unsafe? what other possible issues may arise?|
