I've put mine on and taken it off a few times. Love the look, but reception is terrible. I live between DC and Baltimore, and can barely get reception from stations in either city.

I got the 13" flexible off road one, had it for 2 months now. Lost about 20% in range for reception; ie say a station I would get that was 100 miles away, well now I need to be 80 miles away for the same reception, as an example....

I ordered the 14" SS black powder coated one earlier this week. I was ok with the 13" flexible one, but on our jeep 3-day trip, found driving @ 70 MPH with 95*+ it curved the antenna straight back at an even arch, lol. Over night it straighten right back.... You loosen the bolt on the only pipe connected to te muffler then I used some wd40 and 2 big wrenches to pry the 2 side rubber pieces off it takes a wile the first time you just have to stick with it ad it will eventually come off keep in mind I might be doing it a harder way then other people that's just how I do it and it works fine

I have kept the stubby. Love the way it looks. I stream music on my iPhone now instead of radio...

A piece of 2x4 and a floor jack works quite nicely. Nice work.

I have the 21" combo radio/CB antenna. Great look. Great reception. Not as cheap as the other ones and a little longer than you are used to but it works well.

I'm curious. How did you blow up the axle? Congratulations on the D60 by the way!

Jealous of the upgrades and the trip! Hope you share lots of those with us Midwesterners without such beautiful views

I will agree with you about the sun. It does block a good bit.

Thanks for the heads up. I was showing support over the 4th but they looked so good I left them on. Haha! Maybe time to take them off. Just to be safe

The Jeep said well if he doesn't want to take me off road, I'll bring the off road to myself.

So close! I really wanted to save up for 37s... So far in the last couple if months I have bought a top, winch, 50" lightbar, and other little things. It's really hard to save money when you own a Jeep.

It's not that she doesn't notice, but instead she is hoping you don't notice the new shoes and purses that she got. Either way, forgiveness is easier to get than permission. Now when I want to build something for the jeep I don't ask, I just start tearing shit apart in the garage and tell her not to drive it for a few days.
