Here's my True Blue on an overcast day. Almost black. Its an interesting color. It is difficult to keep clean, but I'm ok with that. Gives me an excuse to spend some time cleaning it every week or so.

|jjunderhill||2013 Billet Dirty. Love the color - on dark days looks more steel gray - easy chioce|

|pbujkurdu||I love the billet color, but went with the true blue for myself ( weren't billets in stock when I bought) the blue looks awesome in sunlight, at night it looks black, and yeah it does sometimes look dark purple depending on the light. billet looks better with accessories default black colors, and with most wheels.|

|HanJ3||i like my billet but wished it was tad bit darker,.|

|jeepinjack66||took the plunge and bought a 2 door true blue sport s today. i pick it up tomorrow! has black interior but they all seem to have black interior..imo, should be at least gray so it doesnt heat up with the top down in the sun..what were they thinking? Im excited!|

|Miss Vicki||I have the True Blue and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I don't think it looks too purple. It is a dark blue, but it is definitely blue. You have to pick the color you like. I see the silver not often than I see the blue though. Pick what will make you happy!|

|MikeLisa||I like the True Blue with black fenders and top. They match my bumper and side armor.|

|cahill4225||I don't think you can go wrong with either choice. It came down between those two colors for me. I went back to back dark blue jeeps, but I do like how the billet looks.|

|MCDavis||I bought a Billet Sahara with black top and black interior. For me, it's the best combo available.|

|jeepinjack66||I like billet but lots of silvery vehicles out there and i like to be different|

|suicideking||1 more vote for billet. Wish they had that color when I got mine.|

|traitor08||Of all the colors Jeep has. I got the Billet and Dozer.|
|04-28-2013 11:31 AM|
Hard choice, True Blue was my first choice until I noticed Billet! I love how it flip flops between two shades of silver depending on light.

Love my true blue! Can't go wrong with it.

|Terex||I have a JKR Dozer, but may have gone blue if they'd had an '12 in a blue that I liked. I've seen the True Blue, and I like my dozer better. Billet is sharp, but I'm bored out of my mind with silvery vehicles. Next Jeep may be a JKU expedition style in white or Sahara tan (if it ever comes back).|

My wife says she's tired of every car she sees in Vegas being either silver or white. That being said, Vegas is super dusty so even though I like the True Blue, I would choose the Billet for me. Think it looks classy with the saddle leather also.
All that being the case, I bought a Commando Green.
Enjoy either one!

|SilverSport||Billet would be an excellent choice because black accessories look great with this color.|
|04-28-2013 10:42 AM|
I'd only get true blue if you're getting painted fenders and even more so if you're getting a painted hard top. True Blue is a fancy, classy color and it looks goofy with black plastic surrounding it.
I wouldn't vote on black either. Vehicles lose their beautiful lines with black and the wrangler has a great body to show off.
Billet is left of your three choices. My wife has it and, though it wasn't our first choice, we're completey satisfied with it.
I have commando green which was an impulse purchase but if I did it over again it'd be commando green again.
Have you considered Dune, Gecko, Crush, or Rock Lobster? These are unique in-your-face colors that I like to see on wranglers.

|jeepinjack66||Wow your rubi is gorgeous. I love that! Maybe i need some lettering in the side hood of the sport model to give it some type of contrast. Im going tomorrow to make a deal.|

|Dawgtre||It is a pita to keep clean, but it is a great color. Pull the trigger and don't look back.|
|04-28-2013 08:32 AM|
|jeepinjack66||I'm going though the same thing. True blue is awesome looking in the sun and there's one i can get at a great deal on the lot. The maintenance will be a pain and do i want to deal with that. Sure why not, i convinced myself.... there are really no other colors that are speaking to me that are out right now...i was ping ponging with 3 choices and couldn't decide... And i don't want to wait for the next round 2014. im imagining true blue with the top down, that its going to gleam in the sun and make me smile.|

billet. but i am biased. sometimes billet looks like winter chill which i love.

|OffRoadCam09||I purchased a true blue. To me I wanted something different an something that would stand out an make a statement. I previously looked at a 09 wrangler x that was silver an to me billet is a nice color but silver, black, red are all over the place an very common. A few weeks later I went back to the dealer an saw a true blue sport on the front row of the lot an knew that's what I wanted. It's hard to keep clean but its well worth it. An I seem to be the only one around that I have seen out an about. I'm happy with the darkness of the blue an the way it changes to a bluish purple or black depending on the light source|
