Thanks for joining me, will definitely have to do it again!

Here's my first attempt at pics w/o reading instructions. I'm the primered beater, Dusthol is the nice JKU on 35s. Neither car had problems, except my brothers RC rock crawler broke a control arm

I agree, we just happened to be out bouncing around by ourselves and didn't want to risk it with guests in the Jeep. Would have been a long walk back down Redington Pass. I usually err on the safe side, when wheeling solo.

I wish I could have shifted things around while I was in Tucson this past weekend, I made it as far as the first tough downhill section and decided to turn around. Would have definitely went further if I was with a group.

Dusthol Even better. I just got off work. Still need to get gear together.
11-17-2014 10:02 PM

We probably saw you then. We were the 3 JKUs and mine was the one with the military markings.

Now to slowly build confidence back up..DW can really take it away quick.
It takes a long time for your brain to forget DW.

Yep, good weekend for wheeling. There is a big run tomorrow in Florence: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f45/wf-...un-919601.html.

I have to work tomorrow but a few of us are going to Chiva Falls Sunday.

Anyone that wants to go to Chiva, we will be meeting @ the Circle-K on Tanque Verde east of Houghton Rd. (it's a couple of miles from Houghton) at 9:30. We will be airing down and heading out at 10:00,

Only thing I can think of as to why mine had issues is that I drive it like a sports car on the road and most of my offroading is long distances at moderate speeds and washboard roads. So I'm pretty rough on them too. The DW popped up only a couple days after doing 150+ miles out in the desert, a lot of washboard roads at 30+ MPH.

Unfortunately, the spot in the road where DW first happened, and which was guaranteed to set it going, has been fixed. So I still havn't fully tested it. So far so good. i still have a teeny shimmy in the steering wheel at 50mph, but I've had that ever since I put on the larger tires. I should know after tomorrow though as I have to drive across town and on some rough roads.

Ya, I think the county is working just down the street from me putting in a couple of pot holes as we speak.
