Great FSR trails. All totally legal. Great scenery. Found some awesome campsites and some fun side trails. There's also some hiking (AT and a waterfall). I'll get some pix up soon.

Upside. These roads were made for jeeps.
Downside. It's one hour north of Dahlonega.

Questions welcome.

Spoiler alert! You will never be done with your jeep, especially if you keep going Offroad.

Here's the link for the ramblr app. It tracks the whole thing on GPS. Some vids can be seen on my YouTube page.

Rich Mountain IS shut down. So...there are some FSR that parallel the Duncan Bridge Trail just west of Vogel State Park. That's the new plan.

I got an app on my iPhone called ramblr I'll try to get the trip posted to their website when I get back.

Any body else riding this weekend? Should be nice.

Not much of a window, but we'll take it! It's a place to ride that's fairly close.

I'll try to find out. It looks like there are enough side trails that you could do some in outs

Nice. That is an awesome view. Does the trail go over the top of the Mtn from the south side or west side. Looks like there are trails both ways.

I'm used to hikiing in and camping alone. Jeeping I'm gonna be REAL cautious and wimp out if I need to. I've got some good leads close to Ellihay so I might not make it to Blood Mtn and I'll try that another weekend.

I don't know what I'll get so I didn't throw an invite on the forum but anyone is welcomed company. Im used to bein alone on the trail. Jeeping just needs different gear. I'm gonna keep it pretty tame and look for private property signs in some of the places local boys are recommending. My worst case scenario is a 1 day hike on Springer Mtn. Could be worse. If you got nothin to do this weekend...
