Agreed, muddy buddies is a good group. Southern Ohio Jeepers Association is a good group also (out of Chillicothe). The guys from S.O.J.A. go to Tar Hollow a lot. That would be about an hour or so from Columbus. Google them or check them out on Facebook. I ride with them some. I'm out of Circleville. I tend to stay on road mostly because mine is my daily driver, but there is a group that goes off road pretty often.
Welcome to the forum Nashorn!

New TJ in Ohio
Hey fellow Buckeyes.
Relatively new to the area and brand new to Jeeps...but eventually want to take my baby off the beaten path.
I am located northern Columbus area, I dont mind driving to a destination to do some off roading. Don't need anything serious like rocks...just somewhere to enjoy some backwoods and say sh*t my old Honda couldnt have made it here.
So any info on trails, parks, or active clubs would be appreciated. Had my TJ for about 11 days now and loving the Jeep wave...other than the JK soccer mom quizzical looks.
Thanks, Hope to see ya on the road or trails!
