I didn't see because he was too far ahead of me at that point and I was feeling lazy since I didn't really know anyone, so stayed in the Jeep a lot and just relaxed.

By the 'hard section' I assume you mean the second obstacle? First obstacle after the gate where there's a line to the right and left? Since I just did JB a few weeks ago, I took the harder line to the left. Everyone else I watched did the right side. I was originally going to take the right side to not cause trouble. When I got to the obstacle, I mentioned to the trail lead that I didn't want to hold people up. He encouraged me to take the left side. Definitely harder than the right side, lots of fun though. Definitely giving my lockers a workout on that one.

I managed to high center my rear diff later in the trail. I thought it was funny because I needed a tug backwards. I could tell the guy in back of me had no idea what to do and probably hadn't done a recovery before, seemed a little overwhelmed. I directed him to pull me off the rock. He seemed to enjoy the recovery. I like to get stuck and give back to the community!

Mimi and I wish we had Gold Mtn on Sat, the fireroad run that was devil's hole was disappointing. The trail boss was GREAT and tried to make it more interesting after DH by running several other trails.
I did Devil's Hole last year and was also really disappointed at first. Who was your trail guide? I think mine was Bob Elhers? He made the day for a few of us. When we were done with the cul de sac that is Devi's Hole and a little bit of fire road. He asked who wanted to do something harder and we ended up doing Dishpan. Made it a great day. I still have only done Dishpan than one time. Looking forward to doing it again at the M&G.

Its all bob.....

I'm just concerned about mimi's safety and comfort and I can't have her riding around on 32's...lol

We had a blast it was nice meeting you two...letc do it again but this time you can go on a run instead of a scenic drive where you have to hunt for bolders.

Cole Trickle Great event we had a blast.

I went with the Dishpan #1 group. Jeep performed great but it's not new anymore...lol

Food and raffle was great.....I made a mistake of wearing flip flops and shorts and it got cold fast once the sun went down.!!!

I still think I should win something for being the only one to sign up for Motino! John Bull was fun, but would've been nice to have at least one person I know on the run. Trail leader was good (P-diddy). The Genright YJ was a couple Jeeps ahead of me. That thing is impressive! 42" wheels and looked like D60's. Pretty much rebuilt from the ground up.

Next year I'll remember to bring some good winter clothes for the raffle.
Yah I was shocked when they called my number DAM that winch was heavy, next time bring some winter gear it was cold.

DjA My fuel pump picked a great day to die. If someone wants to try to grab my spot on this morning's Holcomb run and use my campsite feel free to contact me. Probably too late but might as well throw it out there.

From what i understand, the event is sold out and they've reached the vehicle limit per their Forest Service permit. That said, it's an AWESOME event that sells out fairly quickly. I registered last month and it was already fairly full.
