djjd76 Not sure of the brand or where to look to find out. The only sticker on it is in the rear window and it says California Hard Tops.

Neil F. What brand is it? Bestop/Keystone, Steelhorse (out of buisness) and there is one other, either Rallytop or Bulldawg

hard top question

I have a two piece hard top. There are locking pins that slide up through a whole in the hard top that are supposed to be there to hold the top in place while you lock the clamps down on the roll bars. They are located just behind the doors at about eye level. The one on the passenger side has been either busted, or sheard off at some point, so that when you lock it down, the front part of the top gets pulled toward the windshield. This of course causes a lot of problems, from excessive noise to leaking.
I'm thinking I might be able to drill it out, and retap the whole to thread a bolt up through to replace the original pin.
Any thoughts better than this one lol?
I can't find replacement pins for this thing anywhere. Been looking online for days.
Any help at all is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
