dmiller33 No problem, seems to be a common issue on Jeeps and almost every other vehicle that uses them. My Silverado went through 3 of them when I owned it.

Dewcon4414 Did some research... thanks. I found some pictures and a complete instructions. First thing check the fuse.... mine was good. I had no problem getting a socket wrench in the other guy did and said to drop the lower blower... no need, just loosen with the socket and finish unscrewing with the socket its self. He also had some issues with getting the two apart as did it. Messed with it for 15 min. There is a red release you push down.... however it doesnt appear strong enough to push the one under it down.... so there is a second release. Then they come apart easily. I was in the cut it apart mode when i found it lol. Anyway.... Thanks big time and thats exactly what it was.

dmiller33 Blower resistor. It's behind the glove box. Do a search on here and you will find some threads with pictures.

Heater/AC fan help

My first post has to be a help me question. My blower fan now only works on high. I lost the first 2 lower switches now the 3rd one went so now its on high or off. Seems like a switch since the fan works great and i hear this is a jeep thing. Where is the switch i need to replace .... behind the knob in the dash or close to the blower its self? If its behind the knob does the panel with the ligher and such just pop out for easy access?

Give you a little history. It first started during cooler weather the blower was working on the low setting fine..... then the air bag light would pop on and the blow would go off. I could let it warm a few min. and restart the jeep and the light went off and the blow came back on. Im fairly bright but have no idea why these two are connected. However, i do have a BRUTE FORCE INTAKE system on the jeep. Could be a sensor from solid fuel initially i guess.

Any suggestions on replacement of the switch. I can do it if i know what and where. Thanks

Dew
