I really like the color. Looks great with black wheels. If you don't mind me asking, what was the hardest part of installing the lift?

SN95GT50 Took wife and daughter for their first ride with top down.

Designed a leash holder for the dog, got a better idea in mind.

Washed and waxed her.

Taught my son how how to drive a manual transmission.

Tomorrow: clean softop windows, repair rear zipper that came free from top.

Hexiled Razz Gave her a cleaning, then took a few friends out with the top off. A little early, but i put the hard top on for the season. Mainly because i want to see if my soft top got nosier as it broke in, or if my speakers are getting quieter

I also replaced the weather stripping on my hard top, and switched to hex-head stainless steel bolts and wing nuts for the top bolt-downs. The bare steel thumb-bolts i tried last year didn't work too well. Couldn't get them tight enough with just my fingers, and they rusted pretty quickly. I also took off all the plastic covers on my courtesy lights, dome light, and hard top light. A little brighter in the cab now, and half of them are LEDs so i don't need to worry as much about accidentally punching/kicking and shattering them.

devildog88 I did a test run on some hard plastic and found a damp tooth brush with soap cleans it pretty well, also a shammy and generic cleaner does a good job… no lint.

I bedlined my bumpers, rock rails and grille.

The only way to clean the Rust-Oleum spray can stuff is with a very soapy stiff brush and running water.

Because of this I decided to only use it on exterior parts of the body, and not underneath or inside the TJ.
__________

To the OP:

I would stick to Krylon Fusion for Plastics spray paint for any interior plastics based on years of poring over this site.

Underneath I use either Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer spray primer (or their Self-Etching stuff if it is new, bare metal) with one of several different products for top coats.

If you end up disliking the bedlining it *can* be sanded smooth, but it will not look right. Perhaps sanding progressively up to 2000 grit and then the Fusion or maybe DupliColor?

I have never painted over bedliner, sanded smooth or otherwise, so who knows?
