8.8 rear with 4.10s from the boneyard $100-200
spring over axle with stock leafs - $100
15x8 (or 10) steel wheels - $250
35 inch tires - 900
SYE - $200 from advanced adapters
Cherokee front shaft - $100
Cut down the cherokee shaft for a rear and throw in 3 new ujoints. This is how I would do it if I had a YJ.

|rykemc||You are 16. Chicks are going to dig you jeep just because it is a jeep and the top can come off. Enjoy what you have for awhile.|

Your 16 man, i would just wheel it how it is for now. Have some fun. I wouldn't waste all of your money into one vehicle. Like i said, i would say 4" lift. 33" tires. Upgrade that dana 35 rearend, then maybe lock it if you want.
RC 4" lift = $450 + (optional) SYE, extended brake lines, drive shaft... (little under $1000)
33" tires = $800-$1200 for a good set.
upgraded rearend + lockers $1200 for a cheap setup.
your looking at... $3000+... Just my 2 cents.

|Riogrande98||Would i need a extended rear driveshaft?|

|Riogrande98||Also with the dana 35s, should i run radials?|

|Riogrande98||Thanks guys. I kinda though 35s were a stretch for those axles. Ill take all i was given into consideration. Keep it comin.|

|RandomYJguy||This here is a good idea. Consider this a couple cheap mods. The dana 35 (rear axle) has either got to go. or you need to upgrade it. lockers are helpful. I would look into a rough country 4" lift. and MAYBE 33" tires. If you go any bigger. Your gonna need to go into much bigger axles. Something i dont think a 16yr old kid can do (im 18... lol)|

|cakes567||Tires that big you would need to upgrade your axles. With stock Dana 35 I would not go more then 33in tires. They will not hold up with 35 or 36s. For what your going to do off road I'd also suggest eather a locker for your axles or a posi. The spider gears never hold up In stock Dana 35 axles. Gotta be one of the most common things to brake on a jeep.|
