Ok guys I have an 88 YJ 4.2 l carter carb engine with stock everything. Except the radiator which was missing because PO busted it.

Has no oem replacement radiator.

I have a Dana 44 rear axle out of a 97 Izuzu Rodeo with disc brakes and positive traction rear end and ABS.

I know I need to change the fittings over to SAE for the brake lines but the leaf spring brackets should be a bolt on fit since the width is correct. Axle is a 4.30 gear ratio. I have a SYE I am installing to go with the 3 inch Rough Country lift already on it. Will marry the front axle to this rear with a Wagoneer D44 when I get to that stage. Right now I am cleaning and checking what is working while saving money for a custom drive shaft and rims since the Izuzu is a 6 bolt.

Also rebuilding the steering box since it leaks and I have most of the front end off since I broke a bolt on the Thermostat housing and have to drill and tap it.

This is a project for my son and i to work on together just wish it would stop moving backwards instead of forwards.

Gotten lots of help from all of you on the forum so keep it up.

Have a question outstanding on the YJ forum thought I would ask here if anyone knows.

Where do I get a 30 spline Ubolt style yoke for the Izuzu rear end to match up with the drive shaft going to the SYE once I get it installed?
