Idk, I would not think it had much to do with the mud being it was so long afterwards. I think as long as you clean to components you should be good.

MosesTJ You said it did it after going through mud? Did you leave it covered for several days after? I usually Atleast spray off the underside, wheels and brakes afterward. Even if I leave the top muddy to get the crazy looks from people.

Gio08 Yeap....the piston on both calipers had locked. So i changed them both as well as the brakes. Am not a mechanic at all and this made me fall in love more with the jeep; the fact that it was so easy. The hardest thing was bleeding the brakes, i was just nervous i wouldn't do it right. But all seems to be working fine.

Gio08 Got towed....am working on getting it fixed now. I'm wondering if i have to change the caliper. Am gonna bleed all 4 brakes and check it out. Any suggestions?

Brakes are stuck

I'm currently on the side of the road hoping my brakes will cool down and release because they are stuck and i can continue driving when the smell of burn is there. Is there anything i can spray or pour from autozone while i gwt this checked?

I took it mudding a few weeks ago; can this be a reason why this is happening?
