bc3_Jeep I am guessing you have melted WIRES there. Track each one of them down, individually, and see where they start/finish and replace them with a correctly FUSED replacement.

One of them COULD have been the cause... or the compilation of them all could have caused it.

I have a 87 Wrangler and i had a bit of a "melt down" meaning something shorted and cooked some of the fusible links. I'm wondering if anyone knows what, size, i guess the word would be of the fusible links under the hood. If the picture works this is what I'm talking about. It might not even be the link itself and just the wire. All i know is there are wires showing that shouldn't be, and there was smoke coming from the area(guessing due to the exposed wire). Any help would be much appreciated! The snow is hopefully going to start melting soon and I'm going to be lost if I don't have the jeep to go play in the mud!!
