frankenstein_yj thanks guys. well the parts store around here dont have the rolls for some reason. i guess ill have to hit up the speed shop. i was tossing around the idea of a yj tub on a tj frame and chassis but that would have been way too much fab me right now (lol i built this one in the lawn lol) too bad tho cause i passed up a smokin deal on one a few months ago
11-15-2009 07:08 PM
tet1070 Any parts store should carry the rolls of brake line. The Jeep is looking good. I have plans of pretty much doing the same thing, But I want a TJ frame.

frankenstein_yj oh i just thought of something did 88 yj's come with the 20 gallon poly tanks cause if they didnt the PO of my frame put one in therefore i dont kno what year sending unit would be in it

frankenstein_yj shes starting to look like a jeep again!!!
11-12-2009 06:33 PM
frankenstein_yj thanks man. i think i have all the wiring figured out everything (at the moment) seems to work as advertised but i have a new question, i have a frame that i am assuming had a '88 4.2 on it. when i bought it it had a gas tank and sending unit. if it is from a 4.2 will it have enough pressure to run the '91 4.0?

As a matter of fact i have collected the cans of whoop-ass for the Torx guy from many of my Jeep buddies and have combined them in a 55 gallon drum.

He's gonna be sore.

Yeah good eye I didnt notice that, you could use some square tubing and cut it in half and weld to the frame with a hole drilled

frankenstein_yj by all means by u helping me it seems to have already helped another jeeper out! ok thats what i wanted to do but i wasnt sure if the pros outweighed the work that i would have to do but will deff keep the 2.5s at least till its just time to upgrade!

87 i was on sems website and you can search for dealers by zip code

keep the 4 banger axles. six's could come with as hi a gearing as 3.07, you don't want that.
