Proud Rebel I got the River Raider's they're great!!! I can pivot off of trees or rocks if I need to or take a hard hit also. They're made from .120" tubing and 3/16 plate.

daggo66 I recently purchaced KC Hilite rock rails from Quadratec. They look good and the price was right. They are actually cheaper online than in the catalog. They bolt directly onto the frame and the body through existing holes. No drilling and they are rock solid.

I didn't like that the frame had to be drilled and tapped for the bolts (7 for each side), but the rock rails matched up real well and install was easy. Decided against welding them in case I didn't like them.

I think they look great on the jeep and really like them. They did add a lot of weight and I can tell a difference while driving the jeep.

I've had a few people ask about them, but the place I got them from "Lod" on their web site says the are not available. Anybody know anything about that??

Here some pictures:

thaduke2003 When welding, I ALWAYS disconnect the battery. I suck at welding, but I know that much Mark W.

miss t Just got the lod rails today. Took 2months afer ordering them but I love them and well worth the wait. Dont have them on yet but hope to get them on this weekend. But I do have a question that somebody may help me with. These rails are bolt on but I also would like to weld them to the frame. Would there be any problems welding on the frame concerning the electrical systems or the ecu on the jeep ;wouldn't want to fry anything but I just dont know
