manchester So for that much of a difference what ratio would you recommend

Rude Dog 215/75/15 is 27.5" vs 31" tire for a diff of 3-1/2" diff.. That's pretty a big diff... correcting the speedo is good. It will drive with the tire change, but it be sluggish. A gear change would bring it back to a good performance level.

lift/bigger tires/regearing

hey guys. i have a 2002 sport 4.0 6cyl. my plan as of now is to put a 3" rancho suspension lift. its either that or a 3" full traction economy lift. i currently have 215/75r15 and i was hoping to get 31's with 17" wheels. the only thing im concerned with is whether or not i would have to regear. right now my ratio is 3.55. would i loose too much power doing that? and also would i have to change the spedo at all? any clarification on this would be much appreciated.
