MangoTangoJK Does anybody have a pic of their XHD bumper with a front skid? If so, post the pic and list the skid please.... Mine should be delivered today and I didn't order a skid. I know it isn't a necessity but would like to see the options.

nickmimi this was my first mod, followed shortly by the winch. easy install. no problems since.

rics1997 I really like mine. I have the stubby end caps which I think gives it a good finished look. And it is tough. I hit a deer at 40 mph last year and not even a scratch. The deer didn't fair as well though

I am currently sitting stock....how much droop can I expect when I purchase and install the front bumper? I would be purchasing the full end caps and bull bar.
Is ask a someone close to #100 to sit on the current bumper and look at the sag.

MangoTangoJK Yeah. That's what is detailed on the last page of the instructions. Cutting some of the bumper away for the electric disco. That's what I was talking about. Sorry for the confusion.

The factory pump bracket needs to be cut off and relocated.

TrueBlue Vac pump relocation if you have the '12 or newer

msubrave I like this bumper a lot. Is there any cutting or trimming to install or is it strictly bolt on?
03-21-2013 09:26 PM
D.B. Thanks for the feedback.....looking at a small lift which should address the issue anyway.

If you plan to stay stock. Get yourself some 1/2"-1" spacers for the front if sagging becomes a issue.
Yeah the bumper weighs about 75 and the winch with steel cable weighs about 80, 1" spacers are a good idea.

HAFICON Just bumper...

I lost about 1/2 inch

With winch installed and bar I have a 2" spacer installed and it sits level. If that helps any.

What's the amazon $200 mistake?
A member posted. The bumper was marked $200 w/ free shipping.

20 or so bought it. Amazon iirc honored them all at that price.

HAFICON Love mine. Have it in combo with Rugged Ridge 8500 and Pre Runner. Also the rear XHD Bumper goes well with it as said before.

The installation bolts have a good bit or rust on them now after this winter but gonna replace them with Stainless Steel this summer.

TrueBlue I have front and rear... match perfectly with the jk imo
