MSCHULTHEIS Don't know of any. Need to start our own i suppose. I'd be down with hitting up Montage mtn on the weekends. Its always good to have a second Jeep

BigredJk1791 We'll I was there last Saturday with a friend but we didn't run into any jeeps but there is lots of tracks down there. So does anyone know of any meet an greets going on so we can all get together and get some rides set up.

MSCHULTHEIS Does anyone actually still ride on the Montage trials? I haven't in years and would like to again
04-09-2014 02:39 PM
BigredJk1791 Is there a lot of trails near nanticoke? I've found a few here in pittston and ones near montage.

87jeepwrangler Idk ill figure it out at school tomorrow
09-03-2013 08:10 PM
XMRacer Do we get top use the ricers as "obstacles"? LOL
What night do they meet? I'd be down to meet up.
09-03-2013 07:55 PM
lupton41 I would love to get a group to sit next to the ricers.first time I've heard that term and love it.
09-03-2013 05:00 PM
XMRacer Jeep was delivered from CA yesterday. With moving schedule is a bit busy but would love to meet up.
By no means am I an expert but I do have experience and love sharing it with new Jeepers.
The advice to wheel it stock before adding the mods is the best advice around.
09-03-2013 04:41 PM
87jeepwrangler I'd be in for making a jeep night at sheets or something and then maybe go wheeling from there. Making it on the same night as all the ricers meet there would be pretty funny.

MSCHULTHEIS AA in Dunmore sounds like a great idea. Only 2 min. from home! Not stock here, but not a crawler either. Look forward to a meet up/trail ride.
09-03-2013 12:03 AM
lupton41 Absolutely. So far I put on an Aries 15500 bumper and hella fog lights. It was simple to install since I am also a noob in the mechanic world. I am looking at rock rails solely to look good. Tail light covers. Best of luck to it. And again I live in Dunmore so I'd be more than open to meeting up and hitting some trails and learning the jeep life.

Maniak-Mike Thanks, Mine is a dd too so I'm not looking to do a lift on it right now. I ordered a Quadratec catalog and I'm amazed at all the different things you can do. I was told by a friend to starr stock and learn what the Jeep can do and then work on tweeking it to do what you want it to do.
09-02-2013 11:41 PM
lupton41 I was/am a noob. I am trying to learn. I'm reading this forum all day every day. I ask questions and there are a ton of great people willing to help. From what I've gathered is the best way to learn is to narrow down what you're looking for.

I use my 10 wrangler sport as a dd. so I wanted things to make it look better. Wasn't really
Looking for lifts since I need to save the already bad gas mileage. But if this is your weekend warrior you would want a lift. So first find out what you want. Then search threads and if it doesn't exist. ASK. I have learned everything I know in two weeks of intense forum posts and google searches.
09-02-2013 11:36 PM
Maniak-Mike I'll admit, I'm a noob when it comes to Jeeps and trails. I have have a stock '13 Sahara unlimited, but if there's people who want to meet up and swap knowledge I say we setup a meeting place like Advanced Autos parking lot in Dunmore. Lots of room and possible supplies for noobs like me...lol
09-02-2013 11:23 PM
lupton41 I haven't heard of anything. So I'm looking for the same answers
09-02-2013 11:11 PM
Maniak-Mike I'm in Jessup. When and where do you guys meet up?
08-19-2013 10:57 PM

Rickys03svt.cobra Mxracer hit me up when u move to wilkes barre. I live 3mins from there. And theres alot of good trails in bear creek and sum places in nanticoke . I should have my 8.8 in my tj by september .
08-16-2013 11:24 AM
XMRacer Will be moving to Wilkes-Barre Sept first and need to meet you local guys, so I can put names to Jeeps when we see each other. Plus find where the trails are.
I'm moving from SoCal to work in bear creek. Have an 05 TJ on a 4"lift ,35s, and armored all the way around.
See you guys soon I hope.

2012Cosmos ^^ WranglerJK07 PM me if and when you ever decide to head out. I live in Bethlehem but frequent Hazleton and Milford often.
08-08-2013 12:45 PM
WranglerJK07 There are some fun areas in between Wilkesbarre and Berwick, alot of old coal mining trails that run through the mountains connecting the smaller towns. We've made offshoot trails also so there is a pretty large area for wheeling. Not sure if it's legal to wheel there or not but I've never been bothered once in three years.
