Keeks911 We had a ton of fun too. So glad we finally found some sun and got brave enough to actually take the top down. Kudos to those that did regardless of the rain! I posted a bunch of pics to the SWW/NWO Jeep Wrangler Facebook page.

Thank you again Mark and Terry for leading. And thanks to the middle and tail gunners. We got separated from a "convoy" once and no one seemed too worried that we were missing. We showed up 2 hrs later after finally getting someone to come get us. It's nice to know that if we start off as a group, we return as a group.

Again, Thank you for a great time!

n2jeepn Thank you for posting some of the pictures, we had a great group that was able to attend. You all adjusted to the changing weather. It was one of the best groups that I have lead. It seems everything flowed very nicely.

Depending on how many show up we may stop for lunch in The Dalles area or we may need to eat on the run, be prepared. Be prepared for the changing weather conditions that may occur.

We will meet in Troutdale Oregon at the Sandy Bridge.

Be ready to go with a full tank of fuel, a large group travels slow so we will need to get going and keep on the move.

Gather at 8 am
Leaving at 9am

Directions to the meeting place:

From Portland Oregon Travel Eastbound I-84
Take Exit 17 Marine Drive / 257th Avenue
At Stop Light Straight on (Chevron on your right)
At Stop Light RT Turn onto 257th Avenue (Loves truck Stop on you right)
At Stop Light Straight on (gorge outlet mall on your left)
At Stop Light Left Turn onto Columbia River HWY “Gateway to the Gorge”
Drive through old part of Troutdale Oregon
Follow the road through the S Curves and across the narrow Sandy River Bridge
RT Turn at the ENE end of bridge where it T’s at the Columbia River Scenic Hwy/Crown Point Hwy, meet on the Right in the large parking lot.

Go to Google Maps and type in (or copy) the GPS coordinates: N45°32.304’ W122°22.533’ for a map of the meeting place.

n2jeepn I'm thinking of a start time 9 am or 10 am. Right now I'm thinking of a meeting place in Troutdale Oregon off I-84. The route I'm working on is; Oregon I-84,scenic hi-way, and some back roads. We will cross over The Dalles Bridge into Washington and drive back to Vancouver on SR14. As soon as I get the details confirmed I'll let everyone know. We will go rain or shine. Tops on or off all is welcome. All vehicles are welcome, as this is a scenic drive.
