It's too cheap to pass up so I'm going to risk it. Either way a hammock would be nice!

Gunshw301 and I discuss it a little on this thread: Hammock - Page 2 - JeepForum.com

I don't remember if he had any luck. If they are the soft windows, then I would say "absolutely", with the caveat that I would not drive anywhere without securing them. The Jammock recommendation of securing flat loads is to use a piece of rope or webbing, thread it through the footman loop and around the soundbar, on top of your load, and below the Jammock and tie it down.

We've got a bungie net tie down, with hooks on the corners, for the back of my dad's truck, something like that would probably work.

Question 2: Yes. The Jammock was designed for this, which is why it purposely does not cover the entire cab. The 4 inches of space at the front (between where the Jammock stops and the windshield begins) are there to enable you to operate the cams to secure/un-secure the OEM top. With an OEM top installed, you have a more secure load to execute the overhead storage. The straps are flat and do not interfere with the OEM top.

Buckles: 880 lbs.
Overall Working Load Limit of the Jammock (also known as the do not exceed weight): 350 lbs.

Can it hold more? Of course, I have built in a LARGE safety margin between actual breaking point and the load limit, as you would do in anything you use regularly and don't want to break under load.

The fabric is 24" wide and there are 2 buckles and 2 webbings. Thus, our 350 pound weight limit assumes a safety ratio to breaking strength of 1:5.

Thank you

Whether the hammock was a Jammock, Seth's Trek Light Gear hammocks, and/or an Eagle's Nest Outfitter's hammock, the important thing is that you're comfortable and having a good time with your Jeep!

Oh, I'm sure I could fit the Bouvier up there with me, however, I am not getting a 75 pound dog up there (or down from there).

As of right now, it does not come in black, and will not until I sell enough of the tan Jammocks to afford the cost of the next production run.

I'm in the Jacksonville Beach area in North FL if anybody would like a demo! I'd be more than happy to let you check it out.
I was wondering how you'd get a dog up there when you said that, then I saw the pictures and remembered there is such a thing as a small dog.

Our Bouvier would never get up there.

It's totally fine. I'm glad you're doing so well! Ha and I won't be home from college for another 6 weeks anyway so that perfect timing for me! Keep up the good work man.

What a great review, thanks very much. Are you going to Jeep Beach Week in Daytona? I'm considering going as a sponsor and setting up a booth.

I have it on my Sahara and if it's not a match (sorry, for me "Chardonnay" is "red" and "spice" is "tan") my challenged color palate can't tell the difference.
