Garage door opener

Probably nothing new but the door opener placed in the upper left panel by windshield so that you can push through existing holes. Love having it invisisble.

Let it sit in sun all afternoon and they don't budge. It's as though there's something else other than adhesive keeping it secured. I'll take a look under the good tomorrow.

Soooo.. solution is to krazy glue or gorrila glue it down first or you'll end up redoing it like me.
That's what I figured. Thanks!

For a cologne/perfume air freshener, get cotton balls or just small pieces of cloth. Go to "aromacenter.com" and order your favorite cologne. Dab the oils on the cotton balls/cloths and hide them around your Jeep. Don't over do it though unless you want your jeep smelling like a French whore house. Then you'll have to get her naked to air it out (oh noooooo, the horror). Their scents are exactly the same as any cologne I've ever had, and it's about 15% of the cost of what the actual cologne is. Sort of a nice thing to do, especially if you sweat in the jeep and it bakes in the sun or you're trying to just spruce it up because you feel like being fancy and smelling good. Same can be done with essential oils too if you want something more woodsy (pepper black, sandalwood etc.)

Also waterproof. I plan to wire a second controller underneath the jeep for rock lights.

You wanted cheap JK mods...

I bought a cheap LED strip light with a USB connection.
Found it at Academy in the flashlight aisle.
Added some 3M double sided tape to the back, stuck it in the center console, and plugged it into the Jeep's USB.
It's actually really bright and lights up the whole console.
Turns on automatically a couple of seconds after the key is turned on and turns off a few seconds after the key is turned off.
While driving with the console door closed, it doesn't leak any light at all.

Or if you have a black Jeep just leave it outside for a couple hours then throw some pieces on your dash. There's gna be mud there anyways so why not bacon grease?

I didn't line the keyhole... Never use it anyway but will just toothpick it out if I ever need to.

I just used regular green masking tape and newspapers to mask the area off...

Don't use an exact...the Plastidip pulls right off the paint around the emblem, and if you pull away from the emblem properly it will separate at the space between the body and the emblem
